This kid had to go live with his grandfather or something that he had
never met for the summer. The end up getting close, but at the end of
the summer, the grandfather dies and the boy puts him in a boat,
lights it on fire, and sends it out to sea (or maybe a lake. I think
it was a lake). Then the mom comes back and asks where her father is.
I think it was made in the 90's, but Ive only seen it once as a child,
and have never been able to get it out my mind. Help me!
